Setting up API keys for each user

With the latest version of PROscore for Salesforce each user requires unique API keys in order to use the application. These keys enable each user to have their own set of PROscore preferences and ensure no unauthorized access to your account.

The first time a user requests a score they will be prompted for their iWave Login.

Once the requested details are entered, clicking the “Authenticate” button will validate the user’s API credentials and complete the request to produce a PROscore.
Note: This only has to be setup up once. On any subsequent “Get Score” requests users will not be prompted to enter those credentials.

Please follow the steps below to setup user API keys. Note that these steps are intended for the Primary users and Administrators of the iWave account.

1. Login to iWave and navigate to your ‘User Management Settings’. 

2. From the User Management Screen presented select the user you would like to generate API keys for

3. From this screen you will be presented with details for that user. Simply click the “Get API Key” button and keys will be generated for that user. If keys have already been generated for the selected user they will be presented on this screen. 

The key will be generated and you will see a screen like below:

Each user will also be able to find these keys at anytime by logging into iWave and navigating to their “User Profile” section. 

4. Follow the above steps for each user that needs an API key.
